Sustainability
Our philosophy
The fashion industry is one of the biggest polluters on the planet. Polyester and synthetic fibers are one of the main sources of microplastic polluting our environment and the use of these fibers is increasing. We decided to take a different approach in 2010 in order to reduce our environmental footprint.
We believe that by making small changes in our lives we can together make a big impact, e.g. by choosing better quality clothing and loving our clothes for longer.

Environment
We are only passing through on this planet and we believe it is the responsibility of all of us to look after it, protect it and nurture it. Below are some of things we are doing to do our share.
We create high quality, timeless garments.
We use almost exclusively natural biodegradable materials.
We avoid contributing to microplastics by using plastic-based materials only where necessary e.g. for pleating or comfort.
Increasingly we are introducing fabrics that are also more sustainable e.g. Tencel, one of the most sustainable fabrics currently on the market. We are also working with an eco-sustainable Microfibre Polyamide because of its technical properties and extreme comfort.
We are mindful in our operations of minimizing waste throughout all stages of the design and production process.
Materials and production
More than 10 years ago we started working with biodegradable natural fabrics.
We are increasingly introducing certified eco fabrics to the collection, finely balancing a high quality fabric with an affordable price.
Our production is almost exclusively based in Europe.
Many of our fabric suppliers adhere to strict guidelines to maintain various eco-certifications, some of which include PEF, ISO 14001, FSC, and the EU Ecolabel.
